Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using DirectorMode, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use DirectorMode. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

Accounts

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

The Service

DirectorMode analyzes videos and returns objective scores, timestamped recommendations ('work orders'), and brand-compliance feedback. It is a creative assistant — a second pair of eyes — not a replacement for your professional judgment.

Features available depend on your plan. Some features described in our plans may be marked "Coming soon" and are not yet available; we do not guarantee timing for features so marked.

Subscriptions & Billing

DirectorMode offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Each paid plan includes a monthly allowance of analysis time (measured in minutes of analyzed video) according to your tier.

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to your purchase.

Top-Up Packs

Top-up packs — one-time purchases of extra analysis minutes — are a planned feature and are not yet available. If we introduce them, the applicable terms, including price and whether the minutes expire, will be shown to you at the time of purchase. Today, analysis time is provided solely as your plan's monthly allowance, which resets each billing period and does not roll over.

Cancellation & Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the current paid period, after which it will not renew.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods or unused minutes.

Your Content & Licence

You retain all ownership of the videos, brand books, and other content you upload ('Your Content'). We do not claim ownership of it.

You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and analyze Your Content solely to provide the service to you — including transferring it to the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Policy, such as Google Vertex AI.

Your representations

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to Your Content, and that you have obtained all required consents and releases from every person who appears or is heard in Your Content (including image, voice, and model releases) and from any rights holders, sufficient for us to host and process it as described.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for these consents. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising out of Your Content or your breach of these representations, including claims by individuals appearing in Your Content.

Acceptable Use & Prohibited Content

You agree not to:

• Upload content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or that you do not have the right to submit.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Resell or misrepresent the service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Use the service to violate anyone's privacy or any applicable law.

Prohibited content includes, without limitation, child sexual abuse material (CSAM), non-consensual intimate imagery, and other unlawful material. We do not pre-screen content, but our automated systems may detect apparent unlawful content. We may remove or disable content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these Terms, without prior notice where appropriate. For apparent CSAM, we will report to NCMEC and preserve data as required by law, and may notify law enforcement.

Automated Analysis; No Human Review

Analysis is performed by automated AI systems, not by human reviewers. We do not conduct manual moderation of Your Content. Personnel access to Content is technically restricted and permitted only in limited circumstances — such as support you request, security, or legal compliance — under access controls and logging.

AI & Improvement of the Service

We may use analysis results, aggregated or de-identified usage data, and your feedback to improve the service, including processing analysis results through AI systems. We do not train models on your raw video, audio, or transcripts, and our providers are contractually prohibited from doing so. Where you grant explicit consent (for example, via the feedback consent checkbox), we may access the corresponding analysis results to improve quality.

AI Output Disclaimer

DirectorMode's analysis is generated by AI and is provided for guidance only. Recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees of performance, engagement, or compliance. You remain the author and decide what to keep, change, or ignore. Always apply your own professional judgment.

Public Share Links

You can generate public 'Scorecard' links to share analysis results. Anyone with the link can view the shared scorecard — it is read-only and does not expose your source video. You are responsible for who you share these links with.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the service, or where required by law. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (such as content-licence limits, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive termination.

Intellectual Property

The DirectorMode platform, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by KPI Creatives LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service — not ownership of it.

Copyright & DMCA

To report alleged copyright infringement, send a notice to KPI Creatives LLC, 695 Santa Clara Ave, Venice, CA 90291, USA — legal@kpicreatives.com. We follow a notice-and-takedown process and may remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

Disclaimers

The service is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis results will meet your expectations.

Performance figures, time savings, edit-reduction percentages, and similar results shown in our marketing are based on beta testing, are illustrative, and are not guaranteed; individual results vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KPI Creatives LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the 'Last updated' date above. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
